    What are your thoughts on the Hickory @ Alexander Central game on Friday night. Hickory is comming off a tough loss to Newton Conover and Alexander Central beat East Burke. Should be a good one in Tville. Two very good defenses and two very inconsistant offenses.

    Good Luck to the Cougers. They have come a long way since that North Iredell game. As for Hickory, Of coarse the Statesville Greyhound fans acted like they were the second coming of Southern Cal when they played. Should be a good game.

    Is Todd Fox the Offensive coordinator for Alexander Central??

    WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT HICKORY HAS A GREAT DEFENSE ?
    I WATCHED 1A MAIDEN { PLAYING UP TO 2A } ROLL UP NEARLY 500 YARDS ,
    AND NOT FOR THEIR OWN STUPIDITY WOULD HAVE WON THIS GAME .
    MAIDEN PUSHED HICKORY ALL OVER THE FIELD AS DID BANDYS.

    Hey stickwolf, Todd Fox is working this season with the JV squad. The O coordinator is Ron Turner. Turner has had the position for the last couple of seasons.

    i see this game as a toss up. on one hand you have AC playing in the midst of a three game home stretch with one of the best teams they've had and if they win this game it will be huge for their hopes of getting at least one (maybe more) home playoff game, they should be real hungry for that. on the other hand you have a Hickory team that has won all season and should be pissed about losing to N-C on Monday. despite what others may say about them getting pushed around by Bandys and Maiden (these two teams LIVE in the State Finals year in and year out) Hickory has talent and knows how to win the tough games and they won both of those games. Massey has this game almost dead even and picking a side wont be easy. defense usually wins these types of big games and i'll give that edge to AC playing at home.

    well well.. i really suspect this one to be a great game... hky pissed after a let down against NC.. ac should bring their best game... and as for the comments about hickorys defense giving up plenty of yards against maiden and bandys... i remember fumble caused by hkys defense ran back for a TD and 2 INts against maiden by clovington returned for TDs... a great defense is one that may bend but does not break.. i have a good friend who plays for hickory... so i have connections with both schools beign a 05 graduate just like my boy JR ACFootballDE99 up there... yea they miss us both im sure haha... but im gone and cant wait to see this great game friday..

    Thanks. Saw him at the North game and somebody ask me later if he was O coordinator but I really didn't have an answer.

    good luck coach deal and all the cougars!!!! its time to stop the streak ! 8years in a row,time to go! we beat moorsville and east burke, now on to hickory!!! its homecoming at achs today!!!
