    who does everyone have in this matchup? looks like the probable starters are poole and walden.

    hickorys bats have been hot.. dont know much about south point. just heard they're good all around. should be a very good game

    I agree that Hickory has had some hot bats during this run, however the teams have not been the strongest. I have seen Hickory play a couple times this year against tough teams and the only game I have seen them have any fight in them was Watauga. South beat Hickory and They split with AC. I am just not impressed with them when they play tougher teams. But they are the last Northwest Conference team standing so hope they continue. Anytime you can have arms like Poole, Whaley, and even Johnson(who hasnt been used much) you have a chance. So good luck Hickory

    Looks like the lefty arm for South Point is a stud. 129 Ks in 68 innings. Thinking about getting out to this game tonight. What do I have to look forward to? Stadium? Fans? Hotdogs/BBQ?

    I'll tell you another thing........Coach Lineberger used to drop bombs.
