Hickory vs. Alexander Central

Lets talk about it.

 

If AC plays well, they should win. Its that simple.

Hickory is just not together on the either side of the ball. They have some athletes- but its just not clicking right now.

 

Hickory always plays well against AC. Cougars need this win as bad as any win in years. Cougars need to make them do what they do...turn it over. Hickory is a very talented team that needs to be buried before they get up and figure out they could be good. Look for AC to ground it out and keep Hickory's talented offense off the field as much as possible.

 

Will A.C. 'EVER' throw to the tight end? Not sure why they don't take advantage of the position. I feel that Hickory will find a way to pull this one out, HOPE I'm wrong. These two teams always seem to play close games & more often than not Hickory 'finds' a way to come out on top. A.C. did managed to hang on last year for the win. Who actually calls the plays on offense?

 

I think AC wins this 28-21 in a dog fight. I really doubt we bury them though, its just not how these games go. Also I hope we throw to the Tightend as well. It's a shame the position is so talented it has like 5 catches all year. Set out the last game i hope that helps this game!...Gotta be balanced on O an play hard on D like we always do. if we play good and have a good mixture we should take this game!!..hopin son..like i said im predictging 28-21. Hope we unleash our passing game. Kinnards a beast and the group of wr's is HIGHLY underated in my opinion!

 

Is the game at HHS, or Lenoir Rhyne college?

 

HHS. Hickory can't hold AC hostage anymore since they are now in the same conference. It's truly amazing that Hickory demanded the games a few years back be played at LRU. AC will have as many fans in Hickory tonight as Hickory. When Hickory comes to Taylorsville they could get them all on one good size bus.

 

Great win for Alexander Central. Down 10-6 at half they really turned it on. I would love to hear from some Hickory supporters. They can't be happy with the way things are going. AC is up 10 with 5 minutes, Hickory has 3 time outs and let the Cougars run out the clock. I know I'd be pissed !

 

Haha I was thinking the same thing Wise, its like they just gave up or something, but oh well. What a good W tonight for AC. We finally did some things great tonight. #1 got our all conference tightend the ball an boy did he make some plays. Mixed up the pass/run great in the 2nd half and the D played well as always. If we keep this up we should beat every 1 but Hibriten by 2-3 td's

Ive always thought Hickory should do better with the talent they have. They got athletes like crazy.
