High School Coaches Authority ????

this a good segway into an interesting dichotomy. You see a lot of complaining on all FP message boards about the explosion in number of teams or dilution of the talent pool but it comes down to the same thing guru has concerns about and that is control. No coach is going to satisfy all parents but all of us have been in situations where we felt the travel ball coach wasn't doing his job whether that be in playing time or playing favorites or whatever. When you spend the amount of time as TB parents that we do not to mention the MONEY spent, living with someone elses real or percieved stupidity makes our leashes are understandably and rightfully short.

Bottom line: get your child in a situatiuon whether it be TB or HS ball that you have some comfort zone with. You will NOT be able to change the bad situation you are in I can promise you that. Change does not come from within in HS or TB. It's like buying a pair of shoes. If it doesn't fit the first tiome you try it on I promise it won't fit later... it only hurts your feet the more you wear them!

there are a lot uof unknowns here as previously suggested what is in the best interest of the player, her school program, and obviously the coach! I say to the player play the best competition you can find that will enhance your game YET if tthere is a compromise go play anywhere somewhere where you will ENJOY yourself regardless, period Nuff said!:bananalam
