    GREAT JOB by freshman Staci Woodie kept East Rowan Bats at bay till the 5th inning if I am not mistaken only 2 runs earned !!!!!!

    GOOD JOB Bug This kid can pitch !!!!!!

    Great game between Cherryville and South Point today! Nail bitter 9 innings!!

    Cherryville - 1 (3-0)
    South Point - 0
    9 Innings

    WP - Emily Self 3-0 (12 KO's, 4 hits, 0 BB's)
    LP - Taylor Mahaffey (4 Hits, Don't know the rest but she sure kept us off balance. Pitched a really good game. Tough pither.)

    Freshman Leah Strugill started the bottm of the 9th with a leadoff pinch hit single to center, moved to 2nd on pass ball, move to 3rd on fielders choice and scored on a sharp 2 out single by freshman Taylor Laskey. Both teams played really well, good pitching good defense from both teams.
