    one of the top four hitters in the order, dont know name, but ball went between third basemans legs and it was scored a hit, i would of scored it an error, but i dont keep the score book.

    I have the opportunity to keep book and I find on a regular basis my #'s don't come out the same as the other book or the newspaper. 3 hits and and 4 errors equals 7 hits. In the glove then on the ground....E. And a Fielder's Choice is just that.....Fielder's Choice.

    The lone hit for South Point was a line drive to centerfield and was a clean hit. The bookkeeper marked the E5 a hit but it was no hit. Coach changed it before calling the paper.

    Raiders playing with out 2 starters claw out a win. Leading hitters Karley Harkey with 3 hits including an RBI triple andRBI single . Timber Davenport with 2 hits and senior Kasey Talley with with a 2 out 2 run single to plate the insurance runs in the 6th.

    WP - Karley Harkey with 9 K's , 3 hits and 0 walks.

    Raiders go to 4-1 on the year, 3-1 in the NPC. At East Rowan tomorrow.

    Great Job Tigers!!!

    Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Softball team on their victory against Concord High School this afternoon at Concord. With the win, the Lady Tigers are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Rocky River Conference.

    Taylor Carpenter was the winning pitcher, allowing 7 hits, striking out 7 and walking none.

    Leading hitters for Mt. Pleasant were:

    Georgia Parker - 4 for 4 at the plate with two runs scored and 3 RBI's
    Jocelyn Parnell and Allison Starnes who had three (3) hits apiece. Jocelyn had two RBI's and Allison had 1 RBI.
    Lindsey Huneycutt, Alley Kindley and Taylor Carpenter each had two (2) hits apiece. Alley Kindley also had an RBI.

    The team pounded out 19 hits against Concord and caused the Spiders to strand 10 baserunners with great defense in the field. Sarah Ritchie had two spectacular catches in right field and Georgia Parker had one in centerfield to stop Concord threats at the plate.

    Our next game is Tuesday afternoon at home against CATA.

    DANG!! Heck yeah. Was this first time in history? haha..GREAT JOB RAIDERS. I wish I could have seen that game. Congrats again!!! DOIN great guys. Keep it up!
