    MPHS WINS!!

    Congratulations to the Mt. Pleasant Varsity Softball team for their 10-2 victory over Forest Hills in a key matchup today at Forest Hills.

    Winning Pitcher was Taylor Carpenter who pitched all 7 innings allowing 7 hits, 2 earned runs, allowing no walks and striking out 8 Forest Hills batters.

    Leading Hitters for MP were:

    Lindsey Huneycutt who was 3 for 4 at the plate in the leadoff slot.
    Allison Starnes, 2 for 4, with a triple and 2 RBIs
    Emily Lewis, 2 for 4, with 1 RBI
    Alley Kindley, 2 for 4 with a run scored
    Jocelyn Parnell, 1 for 4 with a two run homerun in the first inning and 3 RBIs
    Taylor Miller, 1 for 3, with a two run homerun in the 5th inning

    With the win the Lady Tigers are 19-1 overall and 15-0 in the RRC.

    Way to go ladies, keep up the hard work !!!!

    Way to go Tay and all the Cherryville Ironmen.(seems like it should be Ironwomen) This is a hard hitting team with great pitching.

    Kathleen Pasquarella went 3-3, 2B, HR for South. She's 12-16 with 3bb's the past 2 weeks.
