    West sends their seniors out in style putting six in the board in the 6th breaking a 0-0 tie. 2, 3 run homers 1 by senior Kaylyn Chapman and the other by freshman Moe Cummings did the Raiders in......

    Karley Harkey with 2 ks, 2 bbs, and gave up 6 hits but 2 left the yard

    Dekota Sharpe Taylor Rosenbalm and Callie Johnson each paired hits for the Raiders. ...Don't have any stats for West, but they are an outstanding team. Good Luck to the warriors in the playoffs.

    MPHS Wins 2ND Round Of RRC

    Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on their semi-final win over North Stanly tonight in the Rocky River Conference Tournament at North. The Lady Tigers finished off the Comets in grand fashion when Taylor Miller belted a 3-Run Homerun to end the game in the bottom of the 6th inning on the 10 run rule.

    The winning pitcher was Taylor Carpenter who pitched 6 innings allowing only 6 hits, walking one and striking out 7 batters. Taylor has 22 wins on the season which keeps her near the state lead in wins.

    Leading hitters were:

    Taylor Miller who was 3 for 4 at the plate with a solo homerun AND the 3 run homerun and 4 RBIs
    Jocelyn Parnell who was 1 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBIs
    Taylor Carpenter who was 2 for 2 at the plate
    Lindsey Huneycutt who was 2 for 3
    Alley Kindley who was 3 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored

    The Lady Tigers will play West Stanly in a re-match from last years conference tournament final at North Thursday night at 7 pm. Wear all your Tiger gear and show up at North to support your Lady Tigers in their quest to win their second conference tournament in a row !!!!!

    Great Senior night for the first graduating class

    Playing Porter Ridge tonight at Piedmont(neautral Field) for 1st or 2nd seed.They are tied for SPC conf. champs.Gives another reason to have a conference tournament.

    The Porter Ridge and Hickory Ridge game has been moved to Marvin Ridge today at 4:30 due to a conflict with having the game at Piedmont. Thank you Coach Allran for graciously allowing us to use your field!

    Wilkinson got the win giving up a one hit in the in the 5th.
    10 ks in 5 innings

    Lauren Elder had 3 hits
    Tara Hajer and Kirstin Morris had 2 each.

    AC will face 6th seed Watauga Friday night

    do not know the other girls names.

    cogdell allowed 0earned runs through 5, but errors and timely hits scored a run in the 6th.
    in the 7th a leadoff error followed by several "blooop" hits
    and missed communication for the mountaineers led to 7runs in the 7th.
