    This was a well played game by both teams.

    RR will now travel to Providence Grove (won over Carver 12-2, I think) for the 2nd round matchup.

    Dang tj you are right again, having the misfortune of seeing my beloved "Wonders" losing to ER, SR, WR and Carson. I have firsthand knowledge of the quality of baseball played by those schools. Those draws you speak of, are dead on also. You can't seed teams before the season starts, thats just crazy. A higher seed should be rewarded, not punished. Come on NCHSAA, Kannapolis a 5 seed gets Catholic and Concord a 4 seed gets ER? Hickory Ridge a 3 seed gets Harding, while NWC and MP #1 and #2 draw tougher opponents?

    W. Forsyth VS Glenn

    The last I heard Glenn is leading W. Forsyth 5-3 and the game will start with West batting in the bottom of the 6th. Fridays game was suspended until sometime Saturday.

    I-Meck teams playing well - except Moresville - they got caught looking past PR - they were waiting for MC in 2nd rd.

    LNHS at TC Roberson game suspended bottom of 4th

    After 90+ minutes of storms LNHS 1 & TC Roberson 4 bottom of the 4th w/ one out.

    Game to resume at noon Saturday.

    Side note--Ever have the opportunity to play at TC Roberson HS baseball field do it!

    Facility is beautiful--a model for others. Short porch to the power alleys 335 and dead center maybe 345 with a 20' monster wall. Not exactly a pitchers park but the playing surface, dugouts, restrooms, and concessions are first rate.
