High School Scouting

First of all

video is illegal so dont do that. It comes down to do you want to go into the playoffs blind not knowing anything first hand about your opponent? Or do you want to take the time to go actually see them play? How hard is it to drive to a hs game and scout it? Alot of phone calls are made and alot of information is passed along. To me its a no brainer to get out and see some games. With the expanded playoff format you have to be ready to see a few more teams. You can bet there will be some #1 seeds that will not want to play some of these #3 seeds that have outstanding #1 pitchers like Tyler Joyner for example at Northern Nash. You can not go on overall records because some teams play very tough out of conf schedules. And some conferences are much tougher than others. Scouting potential playoff opponents has been going on forever.
