    Great game for Casey Faile. She only gave up one hit. Leslie Hensley took the loss for Cheraw giving up four hits.:ylsuper:

    Slight change to the schedule as printed in today's Winston-Salem Journal-
    The entire tournament will be completed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Tueday's 1st Round Games @ Glenn High School:
    West Forsyth vs. Carver
    Glenn vs. Reynolds

    @ East Forsyth High School:
    Mount Tabor vs. East Forsyth
    North Forsyth vs. Parkland

    Wednesday Games @ East Forsyth
    5th & 7th place games

    @Glenn High School
    3rd place
    semi-final
    Championship

    Note- West Forsyth will be attempting to win it's 8th consecutive Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Tournament title.

    West Forsyth goes into the tournament with and 8-0 record. Pitcher Mendy McKenzie has been the winning pitcher in all 8 games and brings an ERA of 0.13 along with 115 strikeouts in 52 innings and 51 shutout innings into the tournament. The West Forsyth starting lineup includes one with a batting average of .609 and 2 others with batting averages above .500. The team batting average is over .400.

    West Forsyth will be challenged for the title by Glenn, North Forsyth and Mount Tabor. Any of these 3 teams can beat any other in the tournament and all 4 will most likely make to the state playoffs.

    Is East Rowan still playing at NW Cabarrus today (3/30/05) at 4pm?


    No, Cabarrus County is on spring break,Rowan is not,anyway I will let you know when the rescheduled game will be.If we don't get rained out Friday,East will play West Rowan @ 4:00,@ East,might not want to miss this one,usually is a pretty good game.Hope to see ya.
