    Bulldogs

Mallory Eggeston pitched outstanding and we hit Ms Bendig just enough to score one earned run and two unearned. Vic Willis had an inside the park homerun. Meagan A. had another good day at the plate and the defense played very well. Myers Park scares me with Meredith and the Mecca has Central and North Meck but if we can hit our pitching is as good as anyone. Will be a challenging year.

Mount Pleasant beat a scrappy S. Stanly team Wed. night 11-9 in 8 innings at South. Hannah Clark led Mount with a 4-4 effort and 5 RBI, Brittany Cantrell had 3 hits, one being a leadoff shot in the 1st. Kelly Furr was the winning pitcher, coming in, in relief in the 3rd with no outs. Mount goes to 4-1 for the year and finishes the week at A.L. Brown on Friday.

I had a little bird tell me that there is a "Skippy" that we need to watch for at Hopewell. I guess she has been working out with her big brother :D
