    Dogfight at The Pound (Butler)

The Butler Bulldogs beat the Robinson Bulldogs 2 - 0 behind Freshman pitcher Ashton Ward
That has Varsity at 7 - 0 overall (1-0 Conf)
The Butler jv is keeping pace with the big dogs with a win over Robinson also. another good outing for Jenna Stiles.
The JV squad is now 5 - 0

CF It seems that the hitters ars just starting to come around, better contact, going with the pitch and timing are improving with all teams,
I think the scores will start climing some in the near future But betweet the strong teams there will still be close games. It seems that at that level its only one error or misplay that wins and loses games.
One thing is apparent, the level of NC fastpitch has improved at an unbeliveable rate. even four short years ago you didnt see many NC athletes at the college level. Now there are a ton of our girls playing at that level.
It seems like CVAC is using our area as a farm team. Every CVAC game or tournament I attend, I see girls from one of our High Schools.
I cant tell you how proud I am of the girls and there coaches, both H.S. and travel, that work so hard to make our athletes dreams come true.
