    Mount Pleasant defeated N. Stanly Monday afternoon in a RRC 2A showdown 7-2. With the win MP moves alone into 1st place with a 6-1 record 11-3 overall. Kelly Furr picked up the win, striking out six and scattering seven hits against a good North team. Hannah Clark 3-3, triple, Furr 3-3, and Jenna Parnell 2 hits led Mount at the plate. Mount finished with 11 total hits.


    South Rowan visits MP tonight 7:00
    W. Montgomery @ MP Thursday 7:00

    sounds like the whole team is contributing at MP and thats always great for team results......

    we will meet real soon with the heat being turned up abit this time of the year and i personally enjoy watching good teams play.......:D

    Mt. Pleasant over South Rowan 8-2. Winning pitcher Elizabeth Lyerly, 7 k's. Offense led by Kelly Furr (hr, 3b, 2b) Brittany Cantrell (2 hr) Maegan Carriker (2, 2b) Michelle Steadman ( 2 hits) MP moves to 12-3 6-1, next game Thursday night W. Montgomery @ MP 7:00 RRC 2A game.

    Butler streak continues

    Butler Bulldogs are now 16-0 overall and 9-0 conf. with a 2-0 win over Olympic.
    The JV team is now 12-0 with a 10-0 victory over Olympic.
    Next game is Fri. vs South Meck. at Butler.

    Hunter Huss 10 - Southpoint 3

    First time that Hunter Huss has defeated Southpoint at softball and they did it at Southpoint. Winning pitcher, Morgan Mayer, 10 strikeouts, 1 earned run, 1 for 1 with three walks and 2 rbi's. Go Huskies :banana:
