    thanks camanman for posting in all the other threads.....merging them soon and who pitched tonite? I feel this team will battle SSHS for the title this year and could grab ahold this year and more! Any stats?

    cfball ... in box score looks like MP scored 6 runs in the 8th. any other comments about that game?

    and how about the butler - weddington game. butler 1, weddington 0 in 13 innings. anyone know about this game?

    mp isnt know for their sticks and they scored 6 runs in one inning(hitters tin to catch up to some pitchers later in the game) OConner will stop the opponents and as others have noted before, she has to get someone to hit and score a run or 2 inorder to win. Much like CCox a few years back.

    its posted on the Butler game from Dawgfan(asst coach at Butler) but again pitchers rule the day!

    Morgan Childers got the win pitching a no-hitter.
    Brooke Blackburn was 2-3 with 3 RBI's
    Laronda McClain was 2-4 with 2 runs & 3 stolen bases.

    Next game Fri. March 12 vs. St. Stevens @ Kings Mountain

    thanks and read it this morning in the shelby fishwrap........great job Morgan and i am sure everyone is glad BB is back playing softball. Rah-Rah is one of the toughest outs in NC hs ball!

    good luck canamman and IMO...fridays game will be a matchup of the conferences' two best teams and all in the area should in attendance at this game!! :banana:
