Went to Cherryville today thinking I would see Angie Walls matched against powerful AC today but Cherryville sent Abby Walls back to the mound against the team that touched her up pretty good in the first game back in March ( 19-2 AC win ). Big difference from the first meeting. I think I counted about 10 K's and AC only managed 3 singles. If I'm not mistaken they reached 2nd base only one time. Cherryville got what they needed in the bottom of the 4th when the Walls sisters hit back to back doubles to score the only run of the game. Very well pitched game by both pitchers.:applause: :applause:   Good job Miss Walls. Good luck Cherryville and Alexander.

    Games Today

Watched East Lincoln defeat Hunter Huss 8 to 2 then traveled over to Welcome and watched North Davidson shutout West Forsyth 3 to 0.

Was told by a ND fan that state 3a champion West Rowan gave North Davidson a scare Wednesday nite. WR was leading 2 to 0 going into ND's last at bat. ND scored 3 runs to win 3 to 2.

    CC

7-0 CC. Haley Scism pitched a great game against her old team. Independence had numerous errors I heard.
