This young man moved to the Raleigh area so I guess this is who you are talking about. He played JV for us last year and did a good job. He played some 2b and SS and hit pretty well.

    Whiteville High School 2A

Whiteville high school (2A) should have a very good team this year. With five returning starters and one outstanding talented Junior that was a starter last year early in season but didn't finish the season. We should have three very good pitchers and two other pitchers that can fill some time. We did lose a very good pitcher and player (Robbie Penny) that led the state in pitching strike outs and hitting doubles. But hopefully, with us going deep in the playoffs last year this will give us an experience advantage. Three of the top five batters are still on the team but I guess time with tell!

Got to throw this one out there Parkland High School (3-A) will be coming back with a good squad of juniors. These guys should make a lot of noise this year. Young but strong hitters.

it's basically juniors and sophomores. most of which played through last year conference schedule. they'll have more than one person to pitch this year and there are a couple of freshman that are supposed to be real good. they've looked decent in metro ball. i don't know all the names except eddie mcgrath.

Ardrey Kell should be the cream of the crop in this area for 08!

I know it's early, but the 2009's to watch will be South Meck & Providence!

Andy Harper. Was the assistance for a couple before. Had helped with SW Guildford before coming to Parkland. Good bunch coming up. They should surpise some out there. But you know how that can work sometimes.
