Hilltop Invitational Tournament

    The 2nd Annual Hilltop Invitational Baseball will be held April 10, 12 & 13. East Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill and Hillsborough Orange high schools host the round-robin tournament and will play 3 outside opponents. Last year Randleman, Kempsville-VA and Tallwood-VA participated. One day of the tournament was played at Boshamer Stadium, home of the UNC Tarheels.

    The tournament committee is looking for teams for this spring's tournament. Once again the Hilltop is looking to play one day at UNC.

    Interested coaches should contact Phil Woodell at East Chapel HS.

    Northwood In

    Northwood HS from Pittsboro will be participating in the 2004 Hilltop Invitational. Northwood has catcher Benji Johnson (an early UNC-CH verbal) and pitching prospect Woods Fine.

    Jordan High School in Durham has committed to play in the Hilltop.
