Searching for help for my daughter, she is playing 10u travel ball and she is putting the ball in play but rarely ever hits the ball hard,The only I thing I see is she is way out front, She has had several hitting lessons and she kills it with the
hitting instructors but can't seem to get the same result in a game. Any suggestions or hitting instructors that can help get results.

    Remember----

What are you gauging her strength and distance on??----remember she is only ten....rarely does a 10 year old hit it out of the park----word of advice, don't push or criticize her if she isn't hittting the long ball...I found myself doing that to my child when she was young, and it only hinders the progression of her skills, and frustration is the result...trust me it will come in due time.....GURU

I posted a thread earlier looking for a hitting instructor and the name I was given was Adrian Ochoa.

We live approx. 1 hour from Charlotte. Guru thanks for the tips. The hits will come, I just need to be patient and encourage her. I have spoke with Adrian and hope to set some lessons soon.

I remember seeing Coach Ochoa's contact information on here somewhere, but now I can't find it. Does anyone have a phone number or e-mail? PM me if you think you need to.

    Coach Ochoa

We were able to get our first session with him the other day and it went very well. My daughter really enjoyed herself. He made it fun, but made her work hard. His contact number is 704 258 0757 and email is [email protected]. I asked if it was ok to pass his info out and he was ok with it.
