Cape Fear hit their 25 th homerun of the season on May 9, 2006 in a game against South View. Cape Fear won the game 5-2. Is there any other team that has topped this in the 2006 season? I know Central Cabarrus hit 25 last season, have they hit another load this year, or any other teams close to this total?

What is the distance to the fence where you play your home games?
Our field is 220 and few are hit.

200' (6' high) with good hitters vs average pitching = lots of home runs
210' (6' high) with good hitters vs average pitching = some home runs
220'+ (6' high) with good hitters vs average pitching = few home runs and lots of doubles and triples

210'/6' is probably the ideal distance for the better teams

Hitters are getting better and fences that are too short can create home run derbys when the pitching is average.
