Hopewell vs C. Cabarrus "Strikeout ALS"

“Strikeout ALS” at Hopewell High School​

On Friday, April 24, 2009 the Hopewell High School baseball team will be having a special “Strikeout ALS” jersey night during the 7:00 pm varsity game against Central Cabarrus High School. The Titans will take the field in special pinstripe jersey in support of battling the deadly disease, ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. At the conclusion of the game the Hopewell players will auction off the pinstripe jerseys to members of the crowd.​

All of the money raised from the jersey auction will be donated to the Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter of the ALS Association. The money is used for patient services and research
