I have seen many interesting discussions about the hottest bats in the past. I think the new NCAA approved bat list sheds a little light on this. Manufactures had submit bats they thought would pass testing. Several bats from the past didn't even get submitted. Easton's 2006 model line is completely gone from the list other than the SCN2B Synergy. Combat Virus FP, Demarini Phenix are a few other popular models that the manufacturer themselves know wouldn't pass testing.

    Never said anything about that.

I would hope most would be capable of separating NCAA from any other association. No different from ISF vs ASA bat last. Cheese does make a valid point about giving some thought to what you are buying. I had the misfortune of dropping hard earned money on a baseball bat that can't be used next year. I promise I wouldn't have made the purchase if I had warning signs it couldn't be used.

Single or double wall what is the best? Is there any advantage using one vs. the other? Is it all in the kids/parents head?
