How are Teams that Play in the State Playoffs Determined?

    Is how a team finishes in the regular season or conference tournament that determines if and what seed they receive in the state tournament? Also can a team finish 1 or 2 in the conference not not do well in the conf. tournament, do they still go to the states?

    What if you win the conference and finish 2nd in the conf. tourney, what seed do you get in the state tournament?
