The Bengals move to 21-1, beating Green Hope 15-5 in 5 innings, without Cameron Conner who pulled his left hamstring during the State Games tryouts.

 

I said it. And although it can be stated either way, the meaing is the same. I'd be willing to bet that 99% of the folks reading this board know what I meant, but for the sake of clarification, all your posts about FVHS would be read, and noted just as easily in the, "results" thread. FV has a great baseball program. Coach Milton Senter does as good a job as any coach in NC. I remember just a couple of years ago he entered the playoffs having dismissed about half of his team for some off field rules violations. It was encouraging to watch those guys make it to the eastern 4A finals and get a win against the eventual state champs. Anybody that keeps up with NC high school baseball probably knows that FV has a solid program. And, I would speculate that most who read TBR keep up with NC high school baseball. For me, I love the fact that we get info on FVHS. I just believe that the delivery of the info is a little over the top. The Bengals will get their due by doing what they've done all year......winning. And now, I'll get off the soapbox.

 

So if you never heard Teddy Rooselvelt's original quote and you don't like they way I post Fuquay's results and you get your information from the "results" tread, leave me alone and don't bother critiquing my posts.

"CHOKE A GOAT"

is also a saying and could apply to this topic, it means you can only feed a goat so much garbage before it chokes, i think there are lots of us goats on here choking on the FV and its players info, southern just may be the head billy goat. Give a team or its players credit but do not choke us, it turns a lot of people (fans,parents,scouts,and coaches) OFF !!
