Royals new to Burlington in 2007

    I-Coach,
I'm pretty sure 2007 is the Royals first year there in Burlington. Replacing the Indians who moved to Kinston.

They were the Burlington Indians for many years, not sure how many, I was real surprised to see them change to the Royals this year. The Indians did not move to Kinston, they have been there for many years. Burlington is a Rookie league (short season) There are 2 levels of Single A, High A & Low A, Kinston & Winston-Salem are High A, Carolina League, Sally league is low A

    Corrections

Lake County is in Ohio so that makes 9 affiliates in NC.

    Yep!
The High -A Indians reside in Kinston. It is a beautiful ball park. I know a few of you guys run the sales roads up through there. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you need to stop and catch a game. FYI Richie Sexton, and Albert Belle played there.
