HOW many on varsity??

    how many players do you keep on the varsity softball team?
    I am assuming no less than 11, but just curious.

    a few more than that.....15 to 17 depending on classification and program!

    Johnston County rockin TBR SOFTBALL or at least close by?

    i watched a few middle/high school games in the last few years, (dd lives, works, coaches @ Riverwood(East of Raleigh)) and i was truely impressed with the dedication of both players, coaches and players in that area EoR...

    we keep a solid 12 players plus two that "bounce" from jv to varsity. I believe that 15 players leads to some discontent because not everyone will play. 12 players means more direct training and more game time. but i agree with cf, depends on the program, number of players, seniors, etc.:twocents:
