    Hockey Town!!!!!!!!!!!!

    For those of you that don't follow Hockey, Detroit Michigan AKA MO-Town, The Motor City and the murder capital of the world. Been a Carolinian since 1972 but don't mess with me I've got friends in Detroit, if you know what I mean. Ha..Ha..!!!!!

    remember saginaw gears????? stationed at selfridge for two years also....the closest i ever came to playing hockey was hitting my brother with a stick...lol

    Too small for football...

    Too short for basketball although I could handle the ball, had speed, and could shoot...

    Played LL baseball for several years (catcher, pitcher, SS) - was forced to move up from minor LL to major LL two years early. Made several All Star teams - started getting into other things and quit playing

    Worked/lived in bowling alley for ~10 years. Made a ton of money in tournaments and pot games. Several 300 games and 700 sets. No desire to go pro...

    Been playing slow pitch softball in a work league for several years.

    Started playing hockey about 8 years ago (old man C league no checking) and LOVE it!

    DDs were a package deal. They came with the wife but lucky for me they are good athletes who love playing softball and toy with Volleyball and Basketball.

    Me to...

    ... but had more fun trying to bounce the pins out past the rake as far down the lane as far as we could. Did someone say deadpin??? Oh and had a ball using the 6 pound balls with one finger in them. Man I gave way too much of my life to the bowling alley! :grlaugh:

    ....there buddy.
    Anyone who catches javelins has way to much drawing power for bowling alley crowds! step up to the real deal.....like say.......the circus. lol
