    Get Terry Grier Outta Here!

Of course the Charlotte-Meck school board/system/chairman is about as bad as Guilford County from what I remember/still hear.

Central vs Ragsdale is going to be a helluva game next week for sure.

you guys have it easy compared to GCS on the other side of town. I was the kid that was bussed an hour to Eastern, when I could walk to Page in 5 min. Guilford County schools suck.

1st time Freedom has beat Reynolds since they have joined the NW4A. Reynolds had not lost to any NW4A team until this year and have now lost to East Burke, Alexander Central and Freedom.

Yeah, you are right Fred....but we put a little scare :scared2: in ya, being up 16-13 at half, and up 22-20 with 9:00 to go! NOT bad for a team that is 0-6 now. IF you didn't get us this year, playing with 5 sophomores on the starting "D", you never were going to get us! Oh well we played really well, and we are pleased with our progress this year. I still think we can win the last three and finish 3-3 in the conference. South Caldwell will be a tough one, but we have them at home, on senior night, and will have 2 weeks to prepare as we have an open date prior to playing them. If we play like we did last night 3-3 in conference is a real possibility. NOT many people thought we would play Freedom to a 34-22 game, much less leading them 22-20 with 9:00 to go! :xyzthumbs

Freedom is weak this year too. I'm afraid Alexander Central is gonna take us- and possibly South Caldwell- they gave East Burke a scare.

I work with Harper's mom- that kid is amazing. ACR will be back and looking for blood next year.

I don't think East Burke has ever won the conference out-right since they have opened. They have tied a few times. This is gonna be their year. (Shut up Laverne!) But I guess they deserve a chance in the limelight. They've sucked hind tit after Freedom for almost 30 years. :laugh1:

I predict right now that Freedom does not lose to East Burke. I could be wrong because it's a rivalry game and all, but I just don't see it happening. Freedom has too many athletes, and fire power for the Cavs. I haven't seen South Caldwell, but Freedom will not lose to Alexander Central either. We had a TD called back and fumbled twice, once on their 23 once on their 5 and both times in the 4th quarter or we would have beaten them easily. I give Alex. Central credit they did what it takes to beat us, but we should have scored 3 more times easily, and their 3 TD's came on 3 big plays of 50+ yards, they never drove the ball on us. Freedom will handle Alex. Central in my opinion. None of that is a knock on Alex. Central, they have a good team, I just think Freedom is better, IF Freedom loses in conference this year I will be suprised, and I think it will be their own undoing. They have the most fire power, and the best overall talent easily.

Check your record books before you open that big mouth.

10-2 6-0 in conference. Beat Freedom 17-10 on a late pass from Todd Decker to Shawn Phillips. I was there.
Alexander played pretty good Friday, it don't matter what took place or what a team could've done against another team , it's what you do that counts.
South is pretty good. # 34 is a handful. The QB ain't bad either.
Hind tit after freedom, I think the series is tied, I would say that is pretty darn even. Now basketball is a different story.

On the last play of first half AC scored to make score 13-0 . Kicked extra point and went into field house. EB was offside and team was called back unto field to rekick the extra point. Blocked by EB. lost a point to the refs. ?????

That was the right call, I was at the fence at the concesson stand and the refs blew the whistle before the kick, there fore there was no play, They had to rekick.
Alexander played a very good game, which they should have won, but didn' t
