    He just keeps getting better!

    I am so proud of Charles! He just gets better and better, and I am going to enjoy watching him and hearing about him at Wofford! We miss you guys! :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:

    Kind of the same note but nice write up on Charles in Baseball America online.

    • Wofford righthander Charles Vartanian delivered six innings of two-hit relief Sunday in a 4-3 win against Appalachian State. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound freshman struck out eight batters with his 91-92 mph four-seam fastball, 78-89 two-seamer with sinking action and solid location of both a curveball and slider. Vartanian is 2-1, 2.12 with two saves, 20 strikeouts and four walks in 17 innings.
