I realize that many of the people on this forum dislike how we function at our home, and sometimes, away games. However, I believe many of the people that attended the game or at least heard of the events through a grape vine, have not been informed of complete truth. In the act of leaving this game, two friends of mine and I were confronted by an angry parent. Her actions, which were no better than that of anyone in my student section, consisted of getting two inches away from my face and screaming that I was unsportsmanlike and a jerk. Okay maybe if we can have student control, then maybe people can have parent control. Now to set this straight, I myself yelled no remark on the weight or size of any of the female athletes, but I am one of the loudest students in the stands. I do appreciate the comparison of my student section to that of Duke University’s. I will say I am sorry for the remarks from the section on the weight subject, but I will not apologize for chanting K or swing or anything else you wish to complain about. You may tell us to stop, the ref. to make us stop, our parents, our coaches, or our loveable principle but here is the thing: no matter what you do we will always be there to support our players.

And yes if you see my idea of supporting as wrong, well….oh well.
