Don't have a score, but I was told Hopewell won, per a buddy of mine whose son plays JV at NM.

    TEAM ........RECORD........Sched

    Lake Norman..10-3..... WC
    Mall Creek.....10-3 .....Hopewell
    Mooresville....9-4..... Hough
    Hopewell.......9-4..... MC
    North Meck...8-5 ...... Vance

Shaping up for a great finish.
    If needed:
LN has the tie break for first over MC by defeating them twice.
MC has tie break over Msvl by defeating them twice.
Msvl has tie break over Hopewell and NM by split with both teams but are 2-0 against #1.

    DirtyMo.........most likely scenario is.........

:42:....... Most likely winners of their 14th conf. games are Lake Norman, Hopewell and Mooresville, leaving 4 teams tied at the top with 10-4 records with NM alone in 5th place. Who has tie break between LN and Mooresville, and between Hopewell and Lake Norman, and ..whatever...? Getting complicated!.........:42:...This is above my pay grade..:whoosh1:

Lake Norman should end up 11-3, judging by the standings Mallard Creek should also. LN has a 2-0 head to head so would be conf. champs. I f MC loses and Msvl wins they will tie for 2nd. MC defeated Msvl twice and therefore claims 2nd place. Msvl and Hopewell split. If they tie, Msvl has the tie break of defeating #1 LN twice. That is my understanding. If anyone other than MC or LN win the tourney then they would get the 2nd seed.

extra innings, just curious why you said that the most likely winners of the 14 conference games will be Mooresville, Hopewell and Lake Norman. You probably are right but wondering if you know something we haven't heard yet.

No I do not know him and I assure you he has no idea about my character. Perhaps one day, after he has taken a class in statistics, he will understand that incorrect data in any set invalidates the whole set. That being my point. I was not disrespecting anyone or any program or any web site and I was certainly not making a judgment call in reference to anyone's character. I appreciate your understanding and hope this clears the issue up. In any event, I wish all of the teams in the I-Meck a successful tournament.

STRANGE SEEDINGS FOR IMECK IN STATE PLAYOFFS???

It looks like the toughest 1st round state playoff game for any I-Meck team will be the yet to be determined 2nd place team who will play Southern Carolina Conference 2nd place team (either Marvin Ridge or Weddington).
I will not miss that game regardless who the I-Meck team is.

See everybody at the States!!! :FIMunching06:

Marvin Ridge and Weddington are not 4a teams. The 1 and 2 seed out of the Southern Carolina Conference are Porter Ridge and Sun Valley. The split conferences make things a little more confusing!

IMeck #5 will get Porter Ridge.

IMeck #2 will get Sun Valley.

    CRITICAL GAME TONIGHT

Mallard Creek at Hopewell tonight. A Mallard Creek win makes them co-champs for the regular season with Lake Norman. If they lose, then Lake Norman wins the conference outright. Should be a fun night. Good luck to both teams and let's hope there are plenty of hot dogs.........:FightenSmilie:
