This was only the 2nd game I've been able to make it out to this year since my son graduated off of the team last year. Very good game...hated that I had to leave early. Looking forward to seeing them again at Hopewell Friday night.

Hopewell gets the win vs E. Meck as Hunter May would go all seven innings on the hill striking out 9 batters. The offense continues to swing the sticks as Keith Prowse would go yard for his 3rd homerun in 4 games. Cody Strickland would go 2-3 with a double and a triple with 2 RBIs. Hunter Conley continues to keep a hot bat as he would go 2-3. John Auten would go 1-2 with a double and 1 RBI. Daniel Whitecavage would finish up 1-3 with a RBI as well. The Titans will be in action Friday night at home against LakeNorman.

Looks like the conference race could go down to the last game. North Meck currently sitting in the 5th place spot with 2 games left still has a chance at the top spot. Mooresville currently in 1st place can't let down their guard with 2 games left against North Meck and Lake Norman. With a Hopewell win vs North Meck and 2 loses from Mooresville Hopewell wins the conference. Looks like Mallard Creek will finish at 8-4 as they have only West Charlotte left on their schedule. North Meck will need to win atleast 1 of the 2 left on their schedule to keep from being eliminated. Lake Norman has only 1 game left against Mooresville. This game could be hugh for the Wildcats. Providing Hopewell gets beat by North Meck this conference could really go berserk.
