    Four shortstops. I wonder where they'll all get their playing time?

    That is a good question SouthPaw. Here is how it is shaping up so far. Jay Cox is working out at third and first. He has also been killing the ball at the plate. Brack Massey has been playing first, left field and third. He too has been hitting the ball very well. In the last scrimmage he sent one off of the top of the wall and flew out at the track. When he wasn't doing that, he was knocking singles all over the place. Next you have Brian Steed. This guy gets after it. He is playing second and some shortstop and is nasty at both of them. In the scrimmages, he has been a tough out. He battles and battles until he finds a way to get on base. Lastly, you have Craig Corrado. He will most likely be our starting shortstop, or at least for many games. He is a switch hitter with "pop" from both sides. Just so you have an idea of how good of a ball player this guy is, he is headed to Chatahm this summer to play in the Cape already. He is extremely legit and a very hard worker.

    I have asked them all if they missed playing short (the guys who have been moved around a little) and they said no, as long as they hit they are happy. And that is exactly what they have been doing. Each one of them can hold their own and some at the dish.

    That is pretty much the rundown on the four shortstops. Things could change come spring time, but that is what it looks like right now. Hope that that helped. Have a good one.

    Oh and I forgot to add...

    Thanks Wossa. It is truly an honor to be apart of, however that does not get us to the College World Series. It is what we are doing now that will get us there. We all want it really bad. Spring cannot come soon enough. Like Coach Fox said, they should rank the recruiting classes after three years, that is when you will be able to tell the most about a recruiting class.
