    It's gotten so slow on here in the last week, that I'm contemplating creating multiple names for myself (ex: aguyyouusedtoknow, baseballwoman, bayleafmuckfog, squaws) and posting and replying amongst myself...:blahblah1:

    It's been done before....I know of one Dad who had multiple IDs and was actually exchanging posts with himself to promote his son. Once you were hip to it, it was entertaining...

    Why is Legion baseball so bad and Showcase baseball so good?

    Braves is sitting on the fence....


    Luis is going to write a beautiful poetic expose about the virtues of LEGION baseball only because he has a special pass to get in free to all legion fields since he fought in the Bay of Pigs.

    I have tried to bribe him to come and see the light of SHOWCASE baseball but someone has told him the following:

    "when you go to showcase games, you can't be a nerd. When you can't be a nerd, you end up being cool. When you end up being cool, you start to party. When you start to party, you meet young single moms. When you meet young single moms, you lose your senses. When you lose your senses you end up passed out in the gutter. Don't end up passed out in the gutter."

    Showcase baseball starts this weekend. Good luck to all the players!

    Well, we almost got a "transfer" thread started...whew!!!!

    I know it's weird, but summer is when we are at the slowest. Hopefully we will continue to get tournament scores and players of the game. but most of the summer is devoted to "promoting" players. It's also when we have the most college coaches checking in.

    Personally, I spend most of my time on the college forum. We will be spending quite a bit of time on reporting the activities of the SCBL Summer League.
