    I did not see that game, but I did see Cincinnati Moeller and Cincinnati Elder play a couple of years ago. The stadium seats 10,000, it was 38 degrees and raining hard, and there was not a seat left. Elder was ranked #5 in USAToday at the time.

    Elder sells 5K season tickets a year. They take it seriously.

    I also played for a 4A finalist team in NC, played in college and have coached. I have to say that NC football, while OK, is nowhere near the level of California, Texas, Ohio, Florida, and some other states. To make matters worse, I would say the the quality of NC football has declined over the past 20 or so years.

    The best teams in NC would be competitive with the best teams in most other states. The rest of the teams would get smoked.
