    For the TOP players, that's true. But there were 9,900 students playing baseball in N.C. in 2002. That's a lot of players to see. In fact, it's not possible to see them all.

    Don't believe the old adage "you will be seen". The player has a responsibility of putting himself in a position to be seen.

    If you are a 97mph lhp as Taylor was you WILL be seen regardless! If your son is not throwing in the 90's consistently or running in the mid to lower 6's in the 60 you need to get to a showcase. I fully believe in the showcase route. My son did not get on the "radar" till after he first attended a showcase. I saw this in another thread "you will get seen but not by who you want to see you".
