Has anyone else been charged recently for yet another year's subscription to Partin's non working website? He had the nerve to draft my account
last week for another year, when he plainly told everyone that they wouldn't be charged and would get a year's subscription if the new site EVER goes live.

4 emails and a Paypal invoice sent to him for a refund have gone unanswered.
How should we go about stopping this madness and getting our refunds?
    Any thoughts?

    Furious!! :fight: :fight: :fight:

Me too... Automatic renewal, no response from Mr. Partin. Paypal tells me they have reversed the charge, and my credit card company also told me they reversed it... You should call your credit card....

I thought one of the reasons to go the the new site format was to get away from paypal? I am going to cancel my paypal account just for good measure. Of course I have never had access anyway so I am only out one years subscription. It's kinda funny that the "coming this week" notice has now been up about 3 weeks. The way it's going it is just a matter of time before we will be getting our polls from the boys in the mountains at Prep Alert. They seem to be doing things the right way and it looks like they are expanding their coverage area eastward.

    refunds

You should contact PayPal and have them work with Mr Partin to refund your $$ for services NOT rendered. On the PayPal site there is a place to file grievances.

This is a service that Paypal offers....

Within a week of my renewal, I'd received a reversal of the charge. Hard to complain about that.

I received a refund promptly upon contacting Paypal and my card company. I think these are automatic and AP just hasn't stopped them yet. Its not intentional but he really does need to get it stopped.

You wanna try something really fun ????

Try to close your account with PayPal ... you can't do it ...

... At some point in time, I'm just going to cancel the card number of mine that they have. There isn't any way of contacting them via email or website unless you file a grievance against a business and I don't think they bother to read those.

Have we all figured out that Impact is all about the money.

the automatic subscriptions are coming from PayPal, not Impact. i'm sure Andy's just as frustrated as his members about the website.
