I know he was a HS coach at Riverside in Durham, but I don't know where he played in the field (or on the mound). CoachEvans knew him as a youngster coach when he was doing that.

    We'll try to find out.

IF you want to know about Andy, who has done an outstanding job for NC baseball when we needed somebody to do this job, just PM / email me. Although I have never worked his showcases and with any of his teams, I believe him to be fair in his evaluation. We all know that good players are left off of any roster, whether at IMPACT or in the State Games. MOst, if not all of the guys that work with Andy are high school coaches, so during the spring, he has to do alot on his own. That's why we have to help him by promoting our own players too.

WE want whats best for our kids

I am a first time poster. We all want what is best for our kids and we'd all like Andy Partin to be right there promoting them. No matter what Andy says or thinks, having a great PR agent helps, but the kids have to do their talking on the field. I'm looking forward to conversing on the site.

Another TBR dad introduced me to Andy at the State Games about five years ago....before he began charging a fee to subscribe to his website. I guess at that time he was paying his expenses out of pocket. Unlike some scouting services who are in the business primarily as a money maker, I believe Andy's heart is in the right place and he does what he does for the love of baseball and his desire to help the young guys become better people and ball players. I admire the guy for identifying a market and making a living doing what he loves.
