    I thought the play at the plate was safe but Stretchy was right there. It was a cool play. Good call or bad all, he handled it well. Made the call and it was back to the game. No drama on his part. He wasn't trying to be part of the game.

    I heard that game was good. No way Mom was going to stay for another game that she didn't have a vested interest in. She's not the biggest baseball fan. You know that. I wanted to see RM/Wesleyan.

    Stealing home: Now that's baseball!

    I really like that Ragsdale team! Excellent team! They are good 1-9. Good pitching, fielding, baserunning, & well-coached. Obviously, a team trying to steal home is not working on fundamentals any longer. They are working on something for later on. On the play at the plate, I needed to see an instant replay to make up my mind on whether he made it or not:It was bang-bang.Good move by the coach to try it. I'll be willing to bet that Ragsdale wins a game down the line with that move.

    Man, I was thrilled to meet the legendary Coach Dease. They don't get any better than him. I heard this from Coach May and it speaks volumes about the man. His players always improve from the beginning of the season until the end. That's a mark of a great coach.

    I'm sure Coach was happy for the win, but he was more focused on what they did wrong and how they were going to correct it.

    Oh....and he has some athletes again this year.

    Just wondering... does anyone know who the plate umpire was for this game? My son was impressed, and said he really did call a good game. Son is the catcher for Williamston. Score was actually 10-0.

    Who is Ardney Dell? I know Ardrey Kell played up there yesterday, but I've never heard of those other guys haha:grin:

    DH Conley 2 Mt Tabor 1.....I was impressed with Ryan Gupton So. from DH Conley. He no hit a good Mt Tabor team. Parker Thomas from Tabor took a tough loss giving up 3 singles in 5 innings, he had 8K's with only 1 walk. Batts looked good in his only inning with 2 K's. Coach Mills looks to be really strong this season. Great game, great day!
