    Megastars impressive

Coach Jeff did a great job with his gang this weekend going 3-1. The loss to the Heat 09 was simply some outstanding pitching from the Heat hurler who tossed a complete game. The Megastars have a wonderful chef as part of their team as well.

    Heat 09's Looking Better Too!

That Heat pitcher was Ryan Glover. He is working hard and showed a lot of head and heart in the game against a good Megastars team. The Heat could have easily went 4-0 for the weekend but didn't hit Ryan Dull of East Forsyth. Must have been a "Ryan" weekend!!

Glad to see Glover is getting innings and pitching well. Its really unfortunate that he probably won't get a ton of innings again this year at North Davidson behind Zack White and Clay Watson. Hopefully he will get more than last year and they can have three seasoned starters going into the end of the year. ND also has two young arms in Pilcher and Joyce that really need innings. What a dilemma for those guys to have - 5 quality guys that all need innings.

    Thats quite a dilemma

I can solve it for them. Just send one of them to Granville County I got an empty bedroom and plenty of food. And the answer is no Coach Evans, I asked first!!

    Any comments about UNCC

I was not able to make it this weekend to Charlotte. I heard the field and the facilities were outstanding. I have not seen it since the renovations. Could some of you guys that made it up there give us details. I would appreciate it.

    Coach,

I hadn't been there before, but the stands I guess were just recently renovated, and they were very nice. Box seats on lower levels, and bench backed bleachers above. Press box was very impressive, and entrance was very nice. Outfield was neat looking with a wooden fence, and large pines behind. Wall wasn't near long enough or high enough to hold your son. All in all, it was a very impressive stadium.

    Behind?

Whew! Ryan will get all the innings he wants this year. He is definitely not a #3 pitcher IMHO.... He just needs a little press like the others are getting. He'll be fine as he is getting lots of letters and inquiries. All us old Angels are pretty proud of him and the other Angels who have been successful.
