Isn't the 17u Black the 'Dirtbag' team? The Hitting Zone must be pretty good.

SBA Canes 2012 White 16 Carolina Canes. 1

Dalton Eisenbath goes 4-5 and pitches 6 full for the win at App St
The Hurricanes had 14 hits and took advantage of several errors by the opposition. The Hurricanes turned 4 double plays.

    Category 5?

Seems the weather is getting rough around the Carolinas. Hurricanes everywhere. Any chance one of them could be the Tornadoes? How about Hail Storms? Thunder, Lightning, Eclipse? Next thing you know we may see the CBC O's for heaven's sakes.

Congrats to SBA! Good to get a "W" in Impact tourney.

    Oops?

Gotta love Coach Jeff's Tar Heels hitting bombs and rakin in the RBI's.

Surely would be nice to see some names dropped on Draft Day -- good luck!

    No Excuses

I would say the Dirtbags black is the better team. They only had 10 players and did not have pitching due to the State Tournament. I saw Seager on the mound and im sure he does not pitch. Hovis is one of the better pitchers. The lefty the Zone pitched was good. I think he was a 2011 player going to UNCG. The Dirtbags didnt hit him. Hats off to the Zone they played good.

    Nasty

Seager has a nasty change up...he dominated the Alabama Storm at the Battle of the South when he was 14...absolute stud on the bump. :N1oldschool:
Seriously, many short-handed teams this weekend due to games and SAT's. Dirtbags will be there when the tournament circuit comes around. No one wants to be in their pool ---

SBA Canes 2012 White 6 Hitting Zone 5

Charlotte Canes 2012 White get 6-5 win on Hitting Zone team with limited staff.(10 players I think) Marshall Keyes (Cox Mill) was solid thru 4 with 6 K's allowing no runs. Canes go 2-2 for weekend, was an fair start to season with limited roster due to testing and such. Headed to CHS next week for Diamond Devils tournament.
