Impact Wake Forest Tourney

I really enjoyed watching the baseball this weekend. I got to see some old friends from my AAU days and alot of players that I coached against as well. I came away very impressed with the level of play from all the teams at the tourney. The Charlotte Heat is a very good ball club. The SC Panthers are outstanding as well. A couple of kids that caught my eye were the Merrifield kid at second base for SCP and the Schumer kid. They have alot of other outstanding players as well. I dont remember the young mans name that pitched against the Dirtbags for the Charlotte Heat but he was outstanding in the 1-0 loss. The Hurricanes are a very good ball club as well. It was alot of fun and the level of play was outstanding. The Dirtbags went 4-0 on the weekend and only gave up 5 runs if my memory is correct. Outstanding pitching and defense by the Dirtbags in all four games. I hate the championship game was rained out Im sure the SCP and Dirtbags game would have been outstanding.
