Sports Hoops- A lot of good discussions focusing on the NCAA tournament.....

Technology- are you having any problems with some of your computer software or hardware? This is the place to go....Geeks Unlimited. You have a question and somebody there will answer it for you...a lot of sharing of info as well

Sports Football- Do you like the Panthers...well it doesn't matter...a forum for the Pro's, with some great feedback

Food and Recipe's- this forum was created specifically with Original in mind...." learn how to make the " Swamp Juice" heralded by the folks of South Charlotte...and made famous by our own " Original"...she doesn't know I stole her recipe.

Movies and Television- give your opinion on what's hot and what's not...great Movie Critics and in some cases can give you reviews before the movies come out..( I told you we have the best Geeks. They can pirate movies before they leave Hollywood offices )

Rant and Rave- this is our signature Forum ( as you can tell by the number of posts ). It's a very lively discussion of many topical events. Our own Puttingood is the Grand Master of the forum and is always stirring things up Although this forum is not for wimps, it is what makes this board so good. But let me warn you now...it is R-rated, so if you can be offended easily, DO NOT venture in to it. If you are a thrill seeker and risk taker, than this is the place for you

There are many other good forums that make up This Board Rocks, so go and sample them...when you enter them, please tell everybody that Braves sent you

He knows that you aren't getting the intelectual stimulation the other forums that you deserve, so he is recruiting assistance!!!

And if you can talk baseball, you are also qualified as a polititian and completely capable of running a company or the nation.

 

i'd especially like to get everyone involved in the rant & rave board, our de facto "war board". right now, there's healthy debate about the president's speech and the impending invasion of iraq.

since this war affects us all, i'd like to hear your voices -- especially those of parents.

There is an old phrase:

"War's are fought by the young"....

You might want to hear from some of the players too.... They are the ones facing sacrifices in the immediate future! As Braves, rcbbfan and I were discussing last night, our culture no longer understands the concept of self-sacrifice. War's are to be fought by someone else, not "me".

 

Yes wars are fought by the young, including 18 year old freshman baseball players. Let's hope it is a short war.
