Important message.....

Recently, some of the threads and posts have gone way over the line. That's not what we are about. We are about promoting the players and schools.

There are plenty of other message boards to direct the attacking replies or post rumors, gossips and other topics that can lead to people getting hurt. It amazed me that the Legion topics created so many new members....but for what reason? To address someone's reply that they didn't like? To attack a coach, player or poster because their emotions layed on the other side of the fence?

No, that's not what we are about. If you have something to say that will help inform our members of what is going on in your area...please post it. If you know a particular player that deserves recognition...please post it. If you have something to say that will help a particular player or family...please post it. If you know of a coach that deserves recognition...please post it.

Some of you may not like our rules. That's okay. Although we like new posters and love for them to participate, you must follow these guidelines or post elsewhere.

I enjoy the fact that TBR baseball is read by nearly every HS coach, many college coaches and 1,000's of families. I enjoy the fact that a coach can post on our board and feel free of any personal attacks. I enjoy the fact that a player can post on our board without fear of being slammed by a rival or a jealous teammate.

These rules are really very simple...and are very easy to follow. To all of you that have been instrumental (and you know who you are) in developing this site...thank you for your help and understanding of what we are trying to accomplish.

To those that have other agendas...go away!

Thanks a bunch guys I appreciate the fact that you are doing this to keep this forum clean, keep it up. Although I have not been able to read the mentioned forum myself so I am not abreast of the attacks there, I have seen these type of attacks in other forums, and it just turned me off to those sites. So please keep up the good work guys!!

 

I agree. Hats off. The mud slinging made me quit even checking in. As I told my 9 year old all star team years ago when a couple of parents were trying to spoil the game for a bunch of wide-eyed kids, I told them the reason God made us wear pants was so our behinds wouldn't show. In other words, if we want to show our tails, we should do so in private and face to face with the one we have a problem with - not in an open forum. I am not even sure what the actual gripes are - don't want to know. I do know that this is just a game we are talking about, not our sons in battle in Iraq or victims of a tsunami.


Now, how bout them Braves (the real Braves, not moderator Braves, even though he's ok too!)

we would like to see the football forum grow as well but the bar has been set very high by baseball and softball. this site is my FIRST source for game results and details. who woulda thunk it - braves, pops and rc?

positive vs. negative

my mother always said "if you can't say something good about someone, then don't say anything at all". good advice. remember, OUR kids are our future. stop trying to be "the best coach, or have the best team". be the best for your child. if we as parents do that, our child, he or she, will take care of it from there. play safe
