Tri-9 teams Athens and Fuquay combined to go 6-0 as both went 3-0 in the Bobby Murray Invitational. Athens took home the championship.

Tri-9 teams Cary, Green Hope, and Middle Creek combined to go 8-1 in the ChatLee Marina Invitational. GH and MC both went 3-0.

Tri-9 teams went 3-1 in the Four Oaks Invitational which had several games rained out.

Tri-9 appears to have gone 17-2 in Spring Break Tournaments. The two losses were Surry Central over Cary and Garner over Panther Creek. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

**Pinecrest beat Lee County twice this week but neither were not part of a spring break tournament. One of which went 9 innings. Maples nor Frye pitched from what I know.

It's been known how tough this conference is but this showing has to stand out to some of the critics. So. Lee was ranked #10 in the State in 3A ball and went 0-3 against Tri9 teams on their home field... Middle Creek (4-8 Tri9) beat SL 9-3, Cary (2-10 Tri9) beat SL 15-4, and Green Hope (7-5 Tri9) beat SL 9-3. It was 3A vs 4A but still pretty impressive, especially with teams like MC/Cary who are in the bottom of the Tri-9 winning rather easily.

    happy easter everyone

Over the Spring Break weekend, Tri-9 teams outscored opponents 139-45. (Excluding two MC games and two LC games that I don't have scores for). Very solid showing for the Tri-9. Spring Break let's everyone see what the Tri-9 can do in non-conference games, when they don't have to save their best pitching for conference games.
