Our team is trying to nail down our upcoming 12u tournament schedule. We'd like to play a few tournaments in different sanctions but are unfamiliar with some of them. What are your thoughts on the following sanctions. Of these sanctions(ASA, IFA, AAU, NSA, and WNCUSFA), what are your top 3 in each category?
    Competition level
    1.
    2.
    3.

    Umpire Quality
    1.
    2.
    3.

    Field Conditions
    1.
    2.
    3.

    Cost
    1.
    2.
    3.

Over-all quality of how the tournament is ran.

    Age Group

In this age group, AAU and NSA in this state are at the top. They run well organized and reasonably priced tournament. Now if you want to travel ASA in GA, Fla, Tenn can give you some new competition.

    Team goals?

....what are they? Would you like to take your kids to a national tourney at the end of the year? If so, then go online and check out where the different orgs. are playing their nats this year.
Keep in mind that ASA is a survive and advance qualifying type format, ie, you have to win a qualifier, then maybe win somewhere else just to get into the big dance. Atleast when my DD was coming along thats how it was done.
USSSA is a points/power rating format. Your team earns points for playing and finishing well at USSSA tourneys.
Their nats. have been in Orlando, at the wide world of sports complex, which is premier. Also given your age group, your team would love to take a trip over to magic kingdom, sea world etc. ...and don't forget, most likely there will younger siblings who are with your group so Disney works out for everybody.
NSA is a staple of well represented tourneys and a bunch of them to choose from. Don't know where their nats are.
ISA, AAU, I have no idea.
Pony, USFA, WFC, have been around enough to consider their options as well.
Good Luck and most important....have fun.
