    Jim Daley

I just wanted to echo the post about pitching instructor Jim Daley. I couldn't have described him any better. My dd has been going to Jim for a few years (she's 13) and he is the best I've seen. He has super communication skills. He always knows how to describe the pitch so that my dd understands what she needs to do. He can also get her to talk some (and thats not easy to do!) lol Thanks Jim!

    Sharon Bailey

If you are looking for an outstanding pitching coach, that will not only work with young beginners, but take more experienced pitchers to a higher level, then look no further than Sharon Bailey. Sharon has been teaching pitching (as well as coaching travel ball teams) for 15 years. Sharon was one of the pioneers in the area to teach the California method of pitching, which is the method you will see being used by the higher level DI pitchers, as well as those who pitch for the USA Olympic Team. Sharon demands perfection and work ethic from her students. She will not teach a student a new pitch, until that student has totally mastered spotting the fast ball, drop ball, change or any other pitch that the student has previously learned. Sharon knows how to connect with her pitchers, and ask any one of her students, and they will tell you how much they love her. Not only is Sharon dedicated to teaching pitching, she also makes an extra special effort to get out to see her pitchers perform on the weekends in tournament play. You won't find a lot of pitching coaches doing that. Sharon is currently teaching 4 DI recruited pitchers, and has a few more that will be playing at that level in the near future. Sharon always takes the time to talk to anyone about pitching, when she is asked. Even if you aren't one her pupils. Several college coaches have told Sharon that they appreciate what she has done to raise the level of pitching in NC. When a college gets one of Sharon's pitchers, they know that they are getting a polished and finished product, that they won't have to spend a lot of time in tweaking.

Thanks Sharon for helping my DD enjoy softball and pitching so much. Without you she wouldn't be where she is today.

I agree about Sharon Bailey. Both my DD's went to Sharon. Looked forward to going to practice with her. She is no doubt one of the most knowledgeable pitching coaches around. Both my DD's were all state and poy in HS. One of them pitches in college. It's not only the pitching she teaches but the knowledge of the game that she brings and makes it fun and enjoyable.

FPitch99 hit the nail on the head !! She also will not try to mold you into a certain style. She will work with what you have as long as your mechanics are correct. She does emphasize" leg drive", which increases your speed. Sharon has been Great for us, & DD loves her to death. We're gonna miss her next yr !!!

    Amen

Sharon has been doing this a long time for a "young lady" and is constantly studying better ways to help her students improve. She has also attended loads of signing for her students, I know because I saw her at two in one day and she had a third one to attend which she made with time to spare! She comes from a great family, "the father of travel softball", and a mother that is just got to be the "mother of softball"!
Sharon thanks for helping my pitchers this summer and fall, w/o U we would have suffered! Constance, Kalie, Steph, and Taylor have all helped the Blues succeed. We will miss Kalie but know she will continue her progress!
Keep up the excellent work and that huge love for the game and your students!:sunny:
