    Pitching coach

Crystal Cox has to be put in with the rest of the great pitching coaches in this thread. My DD has been going to her for a couple months and after tweaking her mechanics she has really improved her breaking stuff. She is very easy to understand and the effort she gets from my DD is amazing.

....the man who sits and waits.....

....I like that T55! And you're right. Be careful in sports or for that matter life in general, of pockets that jingle! Theres bookoos of coins to hear, but they don't add up to the silence of the cold soft folding bills. One with squeaky pockects, says, 'hey dude, got change for a $20?" The one holding the real cards answers, " change is $20!" BAM! ...Be careful what you ask for!!!

    ...and the point is......

........being objective in whats. or who, in this case!, is the right instructor for your DD, or where to get said instruction, and whats the goal, ETC.!!!!!! The jingling pockets gig was only to make this CLEAR!!!!...There exists!!!....some who know, and lots of others who DON'T. And anybody who posts beyond this post, in some type of "trying to legitimize the wannabees", is a Wannabee!

I have heard great things about Ben from parents take their DD's to him. I also understand he stays as busy as Chief when it comes to giving hitting/slapping lessons. I also heard he had 4 girls on his 12U team that hit HR's last fall.

My dd started pitching when she was 10. Pitching has been a emotional rollercoaster ride for both of us. In my opinion, a good coach encourages both student and parent(s).

My dd started pitching lessons in a group style with two other girls. They pitched in the local middle school gym during the off season. Many nights the wall caught more balls than the parent. This recurred as they learned new pitches, causing much discontent with the student and parent. However, their coach never became frustrated, but insisted the pitch could be mastered with practice.

Two out of the three girls continue pitching - Laura Hopper (tb-Foothills Heat) and Alison Ruppe (Smokey Mountain Sting). My hat is off to their pitching coach, Tony Authur. Thanks Tony for years of dedication and riding out the rollercoaster ride.

    Ditto that!!!!!
Tony, CFBAll, made the difference not only with the kids, but also with the parent!!! Many times had it not been for Tony I might have quit for my dd!! Tony IS a teacher, cares for his kids and takes care of the parents!!!!!

I emphatically echo the sentiments of CFever........I tip my hat to CFBALL and his willingness to work with our girls!!!!! Thank you!!!
