    That is an interesting article and it makes a lot of sense, but it has not changed the landscape in how they pick players. The HS player is still the minority when it comes to being drafted in a low round.

    What the article fails to mention is how the college player is so much better now then 10-15 years ago. Through showcases, the scouts know the names and potential of HS players better, but in most cases, they will wait to see that "projection" develop at the college level.
