Intra-squad Scrimmages- date, time???

I thought it might be good to post time and dates schools are scrimmaging amongst themselves this fall - If their open to the public that is.

I'll post on Belmont Abbey if others can pitch in when you know something maybe we can "scratch that itch" by watching somebody play somewhere. I think this group will travel to watch a good intrasquad scrimmage.

The "Bill Belichick" rule will be enforced - NO VIDEO TAPING SIGNS - put in place just incase Braves shows up.<G>

Thursday & Fridays 3:30pm
Sundays 6pm

 

Gardner Webb vs Winston Salem St. 10 am and 12 Sat. @ GWU.

I understand UNC-A's inter-squad scrimmages start this weekend and finish up with best of seven game World Series type scrimmages over the last couple of weekends in October. Don't have any specific times yet.

Yankees, how does Matt like Belmont Abbey? Also, do you know if Hopewell is letting the boys workout on the field yet? I thought I might stop by and watch the guys.

I'm not sure - I tried to get a Metro League schedule as they are participating in that, but I haven't got my hands on it yet.

Matt is really enjoying the coaches and is quickly making new friends -
the negative is we're paying for a meal plan, yet he also stops by and does a job on the food supply in our refrigerator. How anyone can burn that many calories I don't know.

Yankee- isn't that amazing about that meal plan? It costs me more to feed him with the meal plan than without it. I swear these kids eat better than I ever have.

 

When did Winston-Salem State get a baseball team? Their athletic website has nothing about baseball.

Meal Plans????

This year he is simply to close - it's killing us. Last year at 3 hours drive time he must have done a job on FMU's cafeteria. I think last year I came out ahead as all's we paid for was the meal plan - I could have never fed him for what it cost.

I guess we'll have to take in account our shorter drive time to games and the fact we'll get to see more. Net cost could be positive cash flow???? I keep telling my wife that at least.
